Prins Alternative Fuel system at Rally of Monte-Carlo: 22-25 March 2012

Eindhoven, 23 March 2012 - Also this year Prins Alternative Fuel Systems will have a car with its system joining the rally of Monte-Carlo for alternative fuels. Mr Gregor Zdovc and Mr Bogdan Semprimoznik from IQ Sistemi d.o.o. in Slovenia are driver and co-driver in the Petrol and LPG category. The car is the Toyota Verso S, the built-in system is the new Prins VSI-2.0 LPG system. The car has an 1.3 VVTi engine and 100 HP.

Gregor Zdovc, IQ Sistemi: “We want to see how we and how the car with the Prins system will do. Honestly I always go for the win. But since this is our first time, we will see what we can do, but we will do our utmost. We hope to get one of the first three positions.”

Prins VSI-2.0 is the follow-up of the popular VSI system for petrol engines with Port injection and with Direct injection. It comes in LPG and CNG version. Main difference compared to the VSI-system is the upgraded and extended options in the Electronic Computer Unit with advance calibration possibilities.

The key components are all of OEM quality and specially designed for LPG and CNG applications. All components comply with the strictest regulations and certifications. Installation is very easy due to the compact design of the components.

The dedicated diagnostic software is unique and enables fine tuning the VSI-2.0 system for optimal performance and emission reduction. The software will be available in several languages. Different tank options are available for the storage of the LPG or CNG.
